Jasmine's love of flowers was evident before she could walk. Strolls in the pusher would inevitably end with Jasmine clutching a handful of flowers plucked from neighbour's gardens. As she got older, the family holidays always had to include a visit to the regional florist so that Jasmine could see the flowers.
When it was Jasmine's turn to set the table, each setting would have a flower, neatly presented in an old vegemite jar. The old aviary in the backyard was turned into Jasmine's pretend flower shop and telegraph poles were scaled so that she could reach the flowers at the top. Then there was the time when someone picked the prize orchid at a friend's wedding…
So when, at the tender age of 14, Jasmine announced that she was leaving school to become a florist it was no surprise to anyone.
At 18 Jasmine opened her own shop (Feb 2001) “Jasmine’s Flowers”, in Adelaide, South Australia. A loyal cliental followed because of Jasmine’s passion for exceptional service and quality of flowers. The business has grown to include the whole family and other dedicated staff members.
Jasmine now has a beautiful daughter who is following in her footsteps, at 2 years old she comes into the shop clutching sour sobs for the staff that she has picked herself. Her name is Magnolia Blossom. Silas her son is an active 1 year old who would rather eat the flowers.
